Personal stories It could never happen to me

"From Anguish to Action" Rochelle Sobel, founder of ASIRT
The sudden violent death or serious injury of a child in a motor vehicle crash is deeply traumatizing for the whole family. Survivors of the same crash may experience anger and depression and, if they were at fault, a life-long sense of guilt and regret.
Parents in other countries have found solace from grief through action; setting up charities and road safety organisations dedicated to saving the lives of others, helping those bereaved or affected by road death or injury and providing emotional and practical support through support groups, meetings and personal support.
